Early map of Poland, extending from the Baltics to Moscow, Cremania, and Moldau in the east and the Oder and Klein Poland in the west. Centered on Vilna, Grodnow, Lutzko, Crakow and Varsovia. On verso four Polish men and a description of everyday life.

Comes from latin edition of Munster’s “Cosmographiae Universalis libri sex, in quibus iuxta certioris fidei scriptorum traditionem describuntur, omnium habitabilis orbis partium situs, propriaeque dotes…” published in Basel 1559. It was one of the most influential geographical works of the 16th Century.
