Description:
Large map of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia,Belarus and part of Ukraine and Russia. The map is filled with detail and decorated with a title cartouche flanked by mythological figures. Latin title Tabula Regni Poloniae, Ducatus Lithuaniae &c. at top.
The map comes from a Dutch edition of De L’Isle’s atlas. It was published by Covens and Mortier, brothers-in-law who continued the firm established by Pierre Mortier.
