Description:
Very rare map of Asia, originally prepared by J.B. Nolin and re-issued by J. F. Daumont. It comes with two columns on left and right  side describing the different regions and empires. The map is notable for its detail of Hokkaido, here still called “Yedso”. To the right the island “Terre de la Compagnie” and “Detroit d’Vries Terre des Estates, Kamchatka shown correctly.
