Description:
Detailed large map of Europe extends from the Norway south to the Mediterranean Sea and from Portugal east as far as the Ural Mountains, including Iceland and delineates countries and provinces. The large decorative cartouche features implements of war surrounded by several flags, surveying tools, a horse, and a caduceus at top. The map was drawn by Robert de Vaugondy published in the 1757 issue of his Atlas Universal.
