Decorative title page with the title emblazoned onto a curtain being hung by two maidens, above two lion heads flanking symbols of the four continents, a globe, atlases and maps lie at their feet. Page comes from Jean Lattre’s “Atlas Moderne“, drawn by Mounet, engraved by Benoît-Louis Prévost and published in Paris ca. 1762. Page dated.
