Description:
Map of South America including part of Central America. Cartographic elements include lines of latitude and longitude, compass rose, indication of wind directions, location of lakes (including lakes Parime and Xarayes), rivers, and settlements (including Manoa or El Dorado). Includes inset view of Potosí with church at summit, dwellings, and windmills. Decorative cartouche includes native Americans with parasol, spear, rolls of tobacco, pot of gold coins, gold bars, feathered headdress, natural bridge and volcanos. Also included are the Solomon Islands and the western coast of Africa.

Condition:

Poor condition. Map is placed on canvass. Tears, brownish paper, wormholes, water stains, part of map is missing and etc.
