Very nice map of Poland, the 2nd plate appearing in post-1595 edition of the Theatrum Orbis Terrarum. Based on the now lost map of Waclaw Grodecki. The Polish kingdom near its greatest territorial limits, south to the Black Sea into present Moldova and Ukraine. The line of the Dnieper River at the right of the map. French text on verso.
