Description:
Very decorative map showing the former Kingdom of Poland and Lithuania. A lot of heraldic crests and the many roads shown on the map, which was very uncommon for the 17th Century map.
Comes from the Samuel Pufendorf book “De Rebus a Carolo Gustavo Sveciæ Rege Gestis commentariorum libri septem. Elegantissimis Tabulis æneis exornati cum triplici Indice”, published by Christophorus Riegel Literis Knorzianis in Nürnberg, 1696.
