Description:
Extremely rare copper engraving view of the Battle of Narva, Estonia, on 30 November 1700. It was an early battle in the Great Northern War, a Swedish relief army under Charles XII of Sweden defeated a Russian siege force three to four times its size.

The engraving comes from the book of Samuel Faber “Ausfürliche Lebens-Beschreibung Carl des XII, Königs in Schweden…”, published in Vol. 1-9 Nuremberg, Frankfurt & Leipzig 1703.
