Description:
The rare detailed plan of the siege of Belgrade, Serbia, in 1717 during the Venetian-Austrian Turkish War under the command of Prince Eugene of Savoy.

The engraving comes from the Jean Dumont and Jean Rousset book “Histoire Militaire du Prince Eugene de Savoye, du Prince et Duc de Marlborough, et du Prince de Nassau-Frise” illustrated by Jan Huchtenberg in Hague, 1729.
