Title:                      “Carte du Diocese de Breslau avec des IV. Archidiaconats…”​

Description:
Detailed map centered on Breslau (Wroclaw), Poland. In the lower left corner a cartouche with a dedication to the Wroclaw bishop Philipp Gotthard von Schaffgotsch from the map’s author. Decorated with the figures of the patrons of the diocese: Saint. Jan Baptiste, Saint. John the Evangelist, Józef, Saint. Vincent and Saint. Jadwiga Śląska. At the bottom of the cartouche, the panorama of Raciborz with the reconciliation scene of Bishop Tomasz II Zaremba with Prince Henry IV Probus. The whole is crowned with the coat of arms of the Wrocław bishopric. The land survey was done by J. W. Wieland, and corrected by M. v. Schubarth.
