Description:
Rare and very detailed Gerard Valck map of Livonia, today Latvia and Estonia. Oesel Insul (Osel) and Insula Moo (Muhu) are depicted in the Baltic Sea, although Dago is cleverly covered up with a large and decorative armorial cartouche.

The map comes from Gerard Valk’s​ atlas “Nova totius Geographia…” published in Amsterdam, c. 1700.
