The map comes from the German edition of Sebastian Münster’s Cosmography, titled “Cosmographey: od. Beschreibung aller Länder herrschafften und fürnemesten Stetten des gantzen Erdbodens sampt ihrer Gelegenheiten … “, published 1590 by Heinrich Petri in Basel.
