One of the earliest map of Lithuania issued by Gerard Mercator – Jodocus Hondius, tenth Latin edition and 13th map’s edition. This is one of the maps which includes Gerhard Mercator name as the map maker.

Comes from the Latin edition atlas “Gerardi Mercatoris atlas sive cosmographicae meditationes de fabrica mundi et fabricati figura primum à Gerardo Mercatore inchoatae, deindè a Iudoco Hondio piae memoriae ad finem perductae, iam verò multis in locis emendatae, et de novo in lucem editae. Editio decima. Amsterodami : sumptibus et typis aeneis Henrici Hondij, 1628” published in Amsterdam, by H. Hondius, 1628.
