Rare and highly detailed copper engraving portrait of Kristupas Zigmantas Pacas (1621–1684).

Kristupas Zigmantas Pacas – Statesman of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Son of Stephen Christopher Pac and Ona Rudaminatė-Pacienė. Was the elder of Vilkaviškis (1633 – 1646). In 1646 he was appointed Grand Standard Bearer of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and in 1658 he was granted the position of Chancellor. He was the elder of Kaunas, Pinsk, and Astrav and administered the economies of Alytus and Grodno. Very talented diplomat, participated in the signing of the 1660 Peace Treaty of Olyva with the Swedes. Kristupas Zigmantas Pacas was a patron of the arts, funded the construction of the Pažaislis Camaldolese Monastery and the Jieznas Church. He was buried in the Pažaislis church he funded, next to his son and wife.
