Description:

Very detailed and impressive map of Spain and Portugal. In the lower right corner, large cartouche adorned with a beautiful engraving depicting an episode of the Spanish War of Succession, the embarkation of troops at sea, directed by Archduke Carlos. In the lower part an angel holds the shields of Spain and Portugal.

Published in Johann Baptist Homann atlas “Grosser Atlas über die ganze Welt” in Nuremberg, 1730.
