The map of an area of Lithuania and Eastern Prussia (Russian province of Kaliningrad)including Klaipėda ( Memel ), Šilutė, Neringa regions, Lithuania. A very detailed map showing many towns, small villages, forests and rivers. With a large figurative cartouche and a plan of the city of Gumbinnen (now Gusev, in the Kaliningrad Oblast), built by Frederick William I.
Comes from Homan’s atlas “Grosser Atlas ueber die ganze Welt” contributed by Johann-Friedrich Betgen, engraved and issued by Homann Heirs publishing house in Nürnberg, 1737.
