Scarce antique map of the North and South America by Homann Erben. Filled with interesting details especially in the section of the Northwest Passage, based on information derived from Vancouver, La Perouse, Cook, Mac Kenzie and other contemporary explorers. The coastline to the north is shown in dashed lines with labels ‘Probable coast’ or ‘completely unknown coast’.
