This geographical dictionary lists thousands of place names alphabetically with explanations of each, including towns, rivers, provinces, etc. The volume also features 10 folding maps. The maps include a double-hemisphere world map (frontispiece), Africa, South America, North America, Asia, Cisalpine Republic and Maritime Austria, England & Wales, Europe, France and Germany. Printed for R. Morison & Son, Booksellers, Perth. 8vo, 812 pp. Text in English.
