Title: “Map of Tokyo”
Very attractive folded engraved map of Tokyo in Japanese and English languages in woodblock colour. Shows views of tourist attractions. Includes address chart, guide for tourist and legend. The English translations comes with mistakes like “Station of Gen D’arm”, “Boundary of Probince”, “Railway of Horse”, “Emperil Place” and ect. A compass rose gives the 12 zodiacal signs associated with the directions and an inset at the top left shows a map of Yokohama. Decorating the edge of the map are small vignettes of places in Tokyo.
