Large and very detailed map of Italy published by Franz Anton Schraembl after d’Anville’s map. At the top right, a decorative cartouche animated by a marine allegory and the Capitoline She-Wolf with the twins Romulus and Remus.

The map comes from Franz Anton Schraembl atlas “Allgemeiner Grosser Atlas- hrgb. von Franz Anton Schraembl…” engraved by Heronimus Benedicti, published in Viena, 1788.
