Description:
The rare Johannes van Keulen’s sea chart of the British Isles, which was designed for Zee-Fakkel. It is oriented with north to the left and showing the coastlines of the English Channel and Britain. This is the second state of the map.
The map comes from Johannes Van Keulen atlas “De Nieuwe Groote Lichtende Zee-Fakkel …“, published by Claes De Vries in Amsterdam, circa 1697.
