Very decorative map of Blokzijl, a small city located southwest of Steenwijk in the province of Overijssel, the Netherlands. The largest antique map of town ever published.

The map comes from rare, Dutch edition, Joan Blaeu atlas “Toonneel der Steden van de Vereenighde Nederlanden, met hare beschrijvingen – Toonneel der Steden van ‘s Konings Nederlanden, met hare beschrijvingen…” published in Amsterdam, 1652.
