Description:
Decorative and very detailed map of the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. An elaborate cartouche shows the heraldic shields of the 17 provinces. Alternative title in French in top margin.

The map comes from the Johann Baptist Homann atlas Maior Atlas Scholasticus ex Triginta Sex Generalibus et Specialibus…“  drawn Tobias Mayer and published by Homann Heirs in Nuremberg 1748.
