Description:
One of the most impressive copper engraving map of Norway, it shows areas of  Cristania (Oslo), Sperillen Land, South of Cristania with Moss and Monnicke Island. A gorgeous decorative title cartouche and an impressive mining and smelting scenes decorating the map. Map is dated 1729.

Map comes from Johann Baptist Homann atlas “Grosser Atlas ueber die ganze Welt“ published in Nuremberg 1729.
