Description:
A beautifully detailed two sheet map of Scandinavia after Guillaume De L’Isle. It shows the territory of Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia and Latvia, along with parts of Lithuania, Poland and Germany and parts of Russia.
The maps come from Jan Barend Elwe atlas “Planisphere Representant Toute L’Etendue du Monde dans L’Ordre qu’on suivi dans ce Livre” published in Amsterdam, 1792.
