Title:          “Scandinavia complectens Sueciae Daniae & Norvegiae Regna ex Tabulis”

Description:

Highly detailed map of Scandinavia, including the Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and northeastern part of Russia. Very decorative title cartouche presents the portrait of the King of Sweden – Charles XII and features a herald, putti, angels, a lion, royal coat-of-arms.

The map comes from the Johann Baptist Homann atlas “Atlas Novus Terrarum Orbis Imperia…“ published in Nuremberg 1730.
