Description:

Decorative map of the Malaysian Peninsula and the northern parts of Sumatra and Borneo. The mythical Lac Chaamay is still shown in Acham.

Comes from the French edition of Engelbert Kaempfer’s “Histoire Naturelle, Civile, et Ecclesiastique de l’Empire du Japon”  published in a three volume set by Uytwerf in Amsterdam in 1760.
