Description:
Antique map of North and South America. A cartouche explains that this map was based on the work of Guillaume De L’Isle and Jean Baptiste Bourguignon d’Anville maps. Title cartouche also featuring a French royal coat of arms flanked by a beaver and a quiver of arrows.
Comes from Chez Covens & Mortier & Covens Junior atlas published in Amsterdam, 1774.
