Title:           “In quo sunt Ducatus Holsatia et Slesvicum Insulae Danicae et Provinciae Iutia Scania Blekingia et Hallandia Per Iustus Danckers.”

Description:

Attractive and very detailed map of Denmark and the southern parts of Sweden and Norway, based on an earlier map by Frederick De Wit and even earlier map by Joan Blaeu. The title cartouche presents the Danish Coat of Arms surouned by angels and two Danes with cattle, sheep and a horse.

The map comes from the atlas “Atlas Bij Iustus Danckers in de Calverftraet inde Dancbaerheijt” published by Justus Danckerts in Amsterdam, 1690.
