Description:
Very detailed copper engraved antique map by A. F. Treuer, improved by C. L. Oesfeld in 1794 of Principality of Halberstadt, the counties of Wernigerode, Hohnstein and the Abbey of Quedlinburg, also illustrations of other Brandenburg-Prussian districts, Germany. It depicts the area between Gehrendorf, Staßfurt, Großberndten and Wolfenbüttel. Title cartouche displays a mountain scene with putti holding coats of arms and surrounded by hikers.
