Very decorative and detailed map of Fyn island  and the contiguous part of Jutland, along with Als, Aero and Langeland, Denmark’s Kingdom. Fully engraved to illustrate the forests, cities and villages and embellished with a strapwork title cartouche and scale of miles. Copper engraving published in the atlas ‘Gerardi Mercatoris Atlas sive cosmographicae meditationes de fabrica mundi et fabricati figura’ by Henricus Hondius in Amsterdam. French text on verso.
