A striking, early map of the Chinese provinces Szechwan and Hunan provinces. It shows the city of Chungking along the Yangtze River.
With highly decorative title and mileage-scale cartouches. In top a five-line demographic description and statistics about the featured provinces. Based on the earlier map by Johannes Blaeu and the Jesuit Martino Martini.

Map comes from Coronelli’s atlas “Atlante Veneto” published in Venice.
