​One of the earliest and most beautiful panoramic view of Paris, based on Sebastian Munster’s map from 1569. Latin title in cartouche top-left and French title in cartouche bottom right. The plan is oriented with north on the left.

View comes from Latin edition atlas “Civitates orbis terrarum…” published by Georg Braun and Franz Hogenberg, engraved by Georg Hoefnagel in Cologne circa 1572.
